WHAT I BELIEVE

The Earth and your body are reflections of one another. When you tend your roots, everything grows.
The health of our families, communities, and planet begins with the health of our body, mind, & soul.

For over a decade, I dedicated my career to protecting the planet — working in marine conservation, clean water advocacy, and environmental nonprofits. I was out here trying to save the world. 🌍
But I began to feel slowly disconnected from my work, my body, my soul....
That's when I realized something that completely changed everything: we can't fully care for the Earth if we're disconnected from our own inner ecosystems.
Rooted Abundance was born from that knowing. So was Kara Mia Joy — a new name for a new chapter, a declaration that joy isn't a reward for when the work is done. It's the foundation.
I've since studied Ayurveda with the Gaja Collective, trained in Transcendental Meditation and Primordial Sound Meditation, become a Practitioner of Regenerative Healing with the Institute of Regenerative Health, completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training, and certified as a Love & Authenticity life coach.
All while doing this work on myself.
